Shattered Dreams wins Lone Star EMMY Award
Posted about 7 years ago by Joshua Davis
Shattered Dreams, the injury prevention program that was filmed and performed in San Angelo earlier this year, has won a Lone Star EMMY award.
The program was an effort to educate local high school juniors and seniors on the consequences that drinking & driving or texting & driving can have on one's life from different points of view and help inspire change in the way they may think about distracted driving by showing real-life scenarios of the consequences to those choices.
The video was filmed by San Angelo TV City Videographer Brian Groves and Angelo State University Multimedia Specialist Brandon Whitford. The video can be viewed at Shattered Dreams 2017: City of San Angelo and on SATV, Suddenlink channel 17.
The story can be viewed at cosatx.us and the award can be viewed at SATV News Stories
We are honored to have been a part of this production!
