Forensics Webinar Host Facilities

You all may have noticed that there was an email sent to you regarding TX BNE Mandated Foresics Course. If you did not, a copy of the email is below:

Good afternoon!! The Texas Board of Nursing REQUIRES All ER Nurses to undergo a 2-hour Forensic seminar as part of their licensure. This seminar is only required once during your career. But, you must have your certificate when audited.

The San Antonio Emergency Nurses Association, the only provider of this course in Texas, will be providing a webinar course on November 3rd, 2016. Attached is the registration flyer. You MUST attend a host site in order to participate.

That email was seny by Steven Jewell, 2016 ENA Foundation Board of Trustees, 2016 Texas ENA Treasurer and 2016 San Antonio ENA Convention Chairperson.

I have attatched an updated roster of the host sites which include Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo and Coleman County Medical Center in Coleman. These two hospitals were not listed on the flyer that was initially sent out with the email above.

Important things to remember...Registration will be $25 regardless if you are an ENA member or not (I would stronglly encourage all ED nurses to attend), the only limit of attendance is the size of the host facility space, and threre are NO other organizations providing this course except the San Antonio Emergency Nurses Association. Information on registration is attatched also.
