Welcome to our New Website!

Welcome to the Staked Plains Chapter of the Emergency Nurses Association. We have a goal to increase the awareness of our organization not only to fellow emergency nurses, but also to the communities that we serve. We have been working hard to improve our website for chapter members that better connects us as a group, as well as with members of the nursing community.

ENA specializes in improving the education and quality of care for emergency nurses, networks with fellow ENA members across the nation, and helps build bridges within in the nursing community.

Some of the goals/plans/activities we have planned for this year include:

• Volunteering at the 2016 Texas Police Games
• Membership recruitment
• Big for a day
• Phone/video conferencing
• Membership communication via texting
• Developing an annual event to be named the Trauma Games
• And more...

Lastly, I originally joined ENA for a discounted price on the CEN exam. After going to my first few ENA meetings, I volunteered to hold an office. One year later, I was reelected to the same office and serve that position with a passion. Little did I know how much I was going to love this organization and be a part of it. I've learned lots from ENA's evidenced based practice and continuing education. Go to an ENA meeting and see what it can do for you!
