Exciting LVN Opportunity – Pediatric Care at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX!

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a Potential Opportunity for a  Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to support Pediatric Inpatient and Outpatient Clinics at Ft. Sam Houston.

📍 Inpatient Pediatric – Department of Nursing:

• Certification: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required

• Experience: 1+ year of full-time inpatient pediatric nursing in the last 3 years

• Must know pediatric med dosages and be willing to train as support for chemotherapy

• Must pass a pediatric pharmacology exam (80% minimum)

📍 Pediatric Outpatient Clinic – Department of Pediatrics:

• Certification: PALS preferred on hire; required within 1 year

• Experience: 2+ years of full-time pediatric nursing in the last 4 years

• Must have experience with a wide range of pediatric/adolescent conditions, immunizations, and age-specific care (newborn–21 years)
